Welcome to the Degtarsk church of Christ!  

This is a wonderful group of people living in the city of Degtarsk, a small city about an hour west of Yekaterinburg.  In the early 1990's two women, Nina and Vera, became Christians.  For a number of years, they traveled to Yekaterinburg every Sunday to worship with the Saints.  

However, when a woman by the name of Tatyana became a Christian they began worshipping as the congregation in Degtarsk.  At the time, Tatyana ran a foster home, and had a few children of her own.  Many of these young people also became Christians through her teachings.  

Today, the children's home is now operated mainly by one of her daughters, and they continue to teach these young souls about Christ. 

During the holiday season the church had a party for the children.  They had a fun evening with games, candy, presents, and even a visit from Grandfather Frost!

Almost every year, the Degtarsk church has its own Bible lectures for the growth and edification of the congregation.

The ladies in Degtarsk are extremely talented in working with crafts and teaching younger children.  They make their own Bible class material and enjoy teaching children about the Bible.
